We took our work study staff’s large Standard Operating Procedures binder and turned it into a searchable, easy to use online tool using a wiki. | In order to provide effective programs and services to a diverse constituency, students and staff in college unions and student activities must come together and learn to communicate. In this session, student staff, line employees, mid-managers, and senior-level officers in areas such as administration, finance, and management, campus life and program management, facilities and operations, and auxiliary services, will have the opportunity to explore the multiple ingredients of effective communication. In this 4-hour interactive educational session, we will cover topics of interpersonal and organizational communication to include management and organizational behavior, motivation, perception and individual differences, listening and rumors, and fierce conversations. | ||
